Our Specialists
Our nurses come from a wide variety of backgrounds with many years of experience in Recovery Room, Critical Care, Operating Room, Emergency Room and Pediatrics. Surgicenter nurses are registered nurses who are certified in their areas of specialty, such as Certified Nursing in the Operating Room, Certified Peri-anesthesia Nursing and Certified Ambulatory Peri-anesthesia Nursing. All of our nurses are certified in Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. The majority also is certified in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. In addition, Surgicenter offers excellent care before, during and after surgery to meet individual patient needs.
Our highly qualified staff of anesthesiologists are doctors who specialize in ambulatory and pediatric anesthesia. They are board certified or board eligible and their combined experience includes the entire lifespan, from pediatrics to geriatrics. They work with physicians representing all surgical specialties.
The surgical and radiology technologists at Surgicenter have 10 to 20+ years of experience. Our on-site radiologic special procedures technologists are registered in radiology and mammography and are experienced in all aspects of radiology. Our surgical technologists and assistants are highly experienced. Many are certified. They have a wide range of experience at major hospitals in the metro Milwaukee area. They have worked with surgeons in a variety of surgical specialties and continue to do so at Surgicenter.
