We are dedicated to providing the highest quality outpatient surgical care for you and your family. Everything you need is right here, starting with our highly qualified team of skilled professionals including:

• A medical staff of more than 190 surgeons who are board certified or eligible for certification.
• Full-time, board-certified anesthesiologists who specialize in outpatient surgery.
• Registered nurses who are certified in their areas of specialty, such as operating room and recovery room nursing. All nurses are also certified in advanced cardiac life support and pediatric advanced life support.
• Surgical technologists and surgical assistants who are specially trained to assist the physicians.

Our staff takes pride in giving you their full attention and instructing you and your family about care following surgery. Since outpatient surgery is our only business, there is no competition with critically ill patients or emergency cases. This means our staff can spend more time with you.

Our record of safety, successful surgical outcomes and attention to our patient's needs and comfort are what set us apart from other outpatient surgery settings. In addition, offering state-of-the-art equipment and staff, with more training than the industry norm, have earned us excellent patient satisfaction ratings.

As part of our focus on continuous quality improvement, we make follow-up phone calls to all of our patients. We also encourage patients and families to fill out our patient surveys so we can learn how to better serve their needs. We consistently have a patient satisfaction rating of 98 percent. It is a rating we strive for every day, and it remains our top priority.

We set high standards for ourselves and take pride in being the first ambulatory surgery facility in the Milwaukee area to be approved by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care. We also were the first ambulatory surgery facility in southeastern Wisconsin to achieve a full three-year accreditation for six consecutive terms. We are certified to accept Medicare and Medicaid payments.

Cost-effective care

Surgicenter offers the best value for many outpatient procedures. According to the Wisconsin Hospital Association, Surgicenter charges far less for the same procedures done at area hospitals and outpatient surgery centers, while maintaining the highest quality care. This means that patients have lower co-pays and less out-of-pocket costs.

Surgicenter earns reaccreditation Surgicenter achieved another, three-year reaccreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care in October 2011. Our status as an AAAHC accredited organization allows us to provide an extra measure of confidence to our patients and physicians. We are proud to have met the challenge of accreditation. It is proof of our commitment to providing the highest level of safe, quality care. The AAAHC was established to advance and promote patient safety, quality of care and measurement of performance for ambulatory health care organizations.
